It is the US Navy deck jacket issued from the 1940s, cut short and boxy with a lined collar so it could be worn over a uniform on a cold deck. This piece is built on that pattern rather than sold as surplus, so you get the shape and the detailing in a new garment.
How warm is it?
Warm enough for autumn, winter and early spring here. The 295gsm cotton blocks wind, the contrast collar closes off the neck, and the zip and button front lets you seal it right up or wear it open.
What size should I order?
Take one size up for a comfortable fit, or two sizes up for the relaxed vintage look. Sizes run S to XXL in vintage khaki. As a guide, 173cm and 62kg fits a size M, and 179cm and 80kg fits a size XL. Measurements are taken by hand, so allow 1cm to 2cm either way.
What does it go with?

How should I care for it?
